P & S Machine Company utilizes Bar Coding for tracking all jobs from start to finish. Our computer system can tell us at anytime the location and estimated completion date of any of the current work in-process.  Along with tracking manufacturing process and job locations, the system also tracks all costs related to manufacturing a particular product, from labor, to materials, and any outside services such as heat treating and plating etc.. 
   This system helps us in studying accurately all cost related to manufacturing.  It also gives us tools to help each employee to better perform.  Every week each employee gets his performance report and each manager gets his workcenter performance report.  These reports are a powerful tool that show each employee how to be highly productive.
   Our computer system and LAN is Y2K compliant, and we continue to upgrade our system each year.  In order to give our customers the best service available we must continue to invest in new technology.
